Hunter Hurricanes V Victorian Tigers – TONIGHT @ PLC

The Central Coast Water Polo Association is bringing Australia’s best water polo players to the Central Coast.

 

The Peninsula Leisure Centre will host the clash between the Hunter Hurricanes and the Victorian Tigers on Tuesday 3rd February 2009 at Peninsula Leisure Centre for the National Water Polo League.

 

The Women’s game commences at 6.30pm.

The Hunter Hurricanes Women’s team boasts two Central Coast residents, being Natalee McJannett and Tracey Elliott, representing The Entrance Water Polo and Woy Woy Water Polo Clubs respectively.  The Hurricanes Women’s team finished 9th last season whilst the Victorian Tigers finished 6th and currently boast 5 Australian Open Women’s representatives.

 

The Men’s game commences at 7.30pm.

The Hunter Hurricanes Men’s team is also represented by four Central Coast residents, being Jarod Tobin, Daniel Robinson, Mitchell Baird and Sam Wheeler, Jarod representing Wyong Water Polo Club and Daniel, Mitchell and Sam representing Woy Woy Water Polo Club.  The Hurricanes Men’s team finished 8th last season whilst the Victorian Tigers finished 2ndand boast 4 Australian Open Men’s representatives, including 2008 Beijing Olympian Tim Neesham.

 

GET DOWN TO THE PLC TO SEE SOME OF AUSTRALIAS BEST POLO PLAYERS.

    Ladies – Vic Tigers 10 defeated Hurricanes 6
    Men – Vic Tigers 17 defeated Hurricanes 13
