COMPETITION EXPANSION
An idea has been put forth to expand the existing Central Coast Water Polo Format by introducing a Saturday home and away competition which would include Central Coast and Newcastle Water Polo junior and senior teams.
If the idea proceeds I would suggest the existing Wednesday night competition continue as well in it’s current format whilst the new initiative is trialled.
The idea has many benefits and I put forth the concept for your consideration and feedback.

Basic Outline

6 Team Competition (Note combined resources in some instances)
Central Newcastle
Lake Macquarie
Cessnock/Raymond Terrace
Easts/Newcastle Uni
Woy Woy/Gosford
Wyong/The Entrance

10 Week home and away competition
Commencing 13 October 2012 – Concluding 15 December 2012

Junior Women 12.50pm – 1.40pm 4 x 8min
B Grade Men 1.40pm – 2.40pm 4 x 10 min
B Grade Women 2.40pm – 3.40pm 4 x 10 min
A Grade Men 3.40pm – 4.50pm 4 x 12 min
A Grade Women 4.50pm – 6.00pm 4 x 12 min

Our existing Central Coast junior competition may have to start a little earier than present on Saturday mornings to facilitate this exciting opportunity.
