Well it’s been a long time in the waiting but finally we are almost here… A game day where the northern teams take on the southern teams all in the name of fun and charity.

There will be a BBQ on the day and a donation bucket for direct donations to Cystic Fibrosis. It should be a great day to watch or play some quality water polo.

• Where: Woy Woy Pool (PLC – Peninsula Leisure Centre)
• Date: Sunday (14th November) at PLC
• Start: 12:30pm (setup and M3 warm up).
• Finish: 5:00pm
• Charity: Cystic Fibrosis (CF)
• Entry cost is normal pool entry fees.

Grade Start Times:

• M3: 1:00pm
• L2:  1:40pm
• M2: 2:20pm
• L1:  3:10pm
• M1: 4:00pm

Come along, bring your friends and family. This is a great chance to see why so many new people are coming to the sport, young and old.

Wyong’s Justin Donohue was named in the Australian School Boys team to tour Europe and New Zealand in December.

Justin was one of the kids in the Central Coast Junior Program from day one back in 2003 and I’m sure his selection is only the beginning of many more to come as our young players continue to develop through our ever expanding program on the Coast - Central Coast Junior Water Polo Director and proud dad Peter Donohue

Congratulations Justin, a great reward for all your hard work.

Just a reminder that the Wyong v The Entrance M3 game is worth double points this Wednesday.

This is because the corresponding M3 game on 27/1/2010 was canceled due to lighting.

Central Coast Waterpolo is calling for expressions of interest for coaches and manager’s for our Central Coast representives teams at the Counrty Districts Championships to be held at Lambton pool Newcastle.

Date :28th February to 1st March 2009.

Teams included are:

• Open Mens
• Open Ladies
• Under 17′s Boys born 1992 or no later; and
• Under 17′s Girls born 1992 or no later.

These teams need to nominated by 30th January with players coaches and managers.

If we could have expressions of interest in ASAP to either Paul Stubbs or secretary Scott Henderson by the next CCWP meeting will be 15th January.
