Congratulations to our Central Coast Under 16 Boys, finishing 2nd in NSW Club Championships. Upstaging some big name Sydney clubs, along with Hunter and Tamworth along the way, but unfortunately going down in the final to the undefeated Cronulla Blue. Well done lads and well done to Macca and Dono who have been building this team for the past 4 years. Great result!

Woy Woy big winners on Grand Final day.

Woy Woy won 4 of the 5 Grand Finals on Sunday, being pushed hard in both the M2 and L2 games by Wyong and Gosford respectively, but were far to strong in the M1 and L1 competitions. Gosford transferred there dominance in the junior competition to the seniors getting a well deserved win in M3s.

North V South Charity Success

On Sunday 14^th November 2010 the Central Coast water polo community put on an inaugural charity shield event which turned out to be a great day. I know this is an old cliché but the real winner on the day was water polo and Cystic Fibrosis even though the South side came away with the trophy.

We can all give ourselves a pat for raising a few hundred dollars for Cystic Fibrosis and more importantly bringing awareness about CF to the community. The feedback from players, members and public is to do it again and with everyone’s support I think this thoughtful and enjoyable event can only get better.
